Providing Informative and Responsive Services to the Public
The Fayette County Recorder is responsible for all real estate and personal property records for Fayette County. Real Estate records include such items as Deeds, Mortgages, IRS Liens, Mechanics Liens, Land Contracts, Plats, Zoning Resolutions, and similar instruments. Recorders are also responsible for keeping records of Military Service Discharges.
Payment Options:
Cash or Check (No credit / debit cards accepted)
Documents received after 3:30PM will not be recorded that day but will be held and ran the following day.
All documents that need to be mailed back after recording must have a self-addressed and stamped envelope (SASE) provided along with the documents to be recorded.
