Procedure for “Testing Fayette County Weather Systems”

Testing of out-door warning sirens and in-door weather monitor systems will occur on the 4th. Friday at 12 noon for operational concerns (unless threaten conditions).
 
Test for the malls will be conducted between 8:30 – 8:45 A.M..
 
After the test is performed, locations having monitors must contact the Fayette County Sheriff Dept. or the Washington C.H. Fire Dept. to acknowledge having received the test. A copy of the results will be sent to the Fayette County Emergency Management Agency office for review and filing.
 
The responsibility for maintaining indoor monitors shall be born by the agency having use of the units. (schools, business, nursing homes, etc.)
